Yusuf was missing, and his family searched for him constantly. Day and night were spent looking for him until his father finally realized that Yusuf was not lost, but had passed away. Since Yusuf's family were undocumented immigrants, his father could not claim his body because he did not have sufficient identification, and the authorities refused to release the body. Yusuf’s father, desperate to find a solution, did not tell Yusuf’s mother that he had died, leaving him trapped in sorrow as he could not even retrieve his son’s body.
